Seniors are aged 50+ and Surrey has a number of teams competing in both scratch and handicap matches. If you are interested in playing senior match golf, please contact one of the team managers below.
This competition was estabalished in 2014 by Scynthia Larsen who identified a gap in the Surrey Senior calendar for scratch team golf. She set up the league with four other counties and presented the Mulligan Larsen Bowl as the trophy.
Surrey plays four counties in the Senior Scratch League: Kent, Middlesex, Sussex and Essex. Each county fields a team of six players and the format is 18 holes scratch match play. All matches are played between May and the end of September. A Jamboree event at the end of the season is to be introduced in October 2023. To read the league rules, click here

Surrey Seniors also play a series of Inter-County friendly matches against Hampshire, Middlesex, Kent, Sussex and Berkshire, as well as the Surrey Men. Teams for these matches are a mix of high and low handicaps and play a variety of different match formats. The Surrey Friendly Team Manager is Jan Gilkes.
2022 round up - We have had a good year winning 3, drawing 1 and losing 1. A total of 29 ladies represented Surrey in these matches.

A Team of four players also compete in the Inter-Counties Seniors Team Stroke Play Championship every September. This team is selected after the Surrey Senior Championship. 10 counties participate in the event.
In 2022, the competition was due to be hosted by Oxfordshire and played at Henley on the 19th September 2022. The team chosen was:
