1st June 2022 Fulwell Golf Club Report

We had 26 junior girls competing in the Surrey Junior Championships this year held at Fulwell Golf Club. It was great to see a cross-section of abilities – handicaps ranged from 0 up to 30.1. Our youngest competitor was 6 years old and a recent addition to the Surrey under 15 squad.

The weather managed to hold off from the threatened thunder storms and the course was in immaculate condition. Girls and their parents were very impressed with the quality of the greens which certainly tested even the lower handicap players.

The standard of play was high and below are the following scores and prizes awarded across the day with a CSS of 74:

There were also prizes for morning and afternoon gross and nett prizes, however, overall well done to Emily Peaford who had a clean sweep across all categories.
