Welcome to Surrey Ladies County Golf Association

Who are we?

The Surrey County Golf Club was formed in 1900 and subsequently became the Surrey Ladies Golf Association in 1929. We now have over 7,000 members from 103 affiliated clubs. A short history of SLCGA can be seen on the Heritage page.

What Do We Do?

Provide fun and competitive golf in Surrey for amateur players of all ages and all abilities.
Provide a coaching programme to help and encourage talented golfers to reach their potential.
Give junior girls an introduction to the game with a structured development programme.
Select various teams to represent the County.
Work with the men's Surrey County Golf Union to form a partnership for the betterment of the sport within the County.
Provide help and support to Clubs in the administration of the WHS Uniform System of Handicapping.
Represent Surrey ladies on England Golf (the national governing body).
