Lisa McGowan successfully defended her title
and was crowned Surrey Ladies Champion 2008
at West Surrey Golf Club on Sunday 13th April

Despite some torrential downpours of rain
rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning
the Championship was completed on time

There were 10 juniors playing in the qualifying
rounds and 4 juniors were in the matchplay
stages

Lisa played sixteen year old Nicola Taylor from
Walton Heath in the final round and won 4/3 Congratulations to Lisa and Nicola for reaching
the final round of the Championship
