SLCGA Coaching Programme

Click here to download the Coaching Programme in PDF format.

Over the past few years the SLCGA has been working to improve the coaching programme it offers. The changes made have generally been effective with more players gaining access to county coaching and a general rise in the standard of Ladies / Junior golf across the county. As each year progresses SLCGA evaluates the coaching programme in an effort to learn appropriate lessons to take forward to the following years programme. This year is no exception. For 2011/12 SLCGA will again seek to offer county coaching to all players wishing to receive it on a self funded / subsidised basis. SLCGA will also seek to assist those players with the most potential for further development by offering a 10 month programme that will focus on performance. Junior players not involved in the Futures or Funded coaching programme will have access to junior squad coaching, whilst those intermediate players (16-25 yr olds) will have access to the Golf Mix programme across the county.
