I had my arm twisted to give shote with full

Well done to the 1st Team 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 win

We had 3 halved matches and nearly all went to
the last couple of holes, so a good day was had
by all.

and one of the Junior Officers. Thank you for all

Our first match of the year and we were blessed
with a glorious sunny day, even though the wind
was a bit chilly. We played 5 matches of Greensomes
I was delighted to have 3 juniors on board

Diasy May Kenny and Alison Gee managed a
fantastic 6/5 win.
Overall it was a win for Surrey Ladies 3/2.

I would like to thank Brian Shaw and the
men from Effingham for their wonderful
hospitaity. They have already given us a date for
next year. Perhaps they want their own back

Another match, this time against Berkshire

They all enjoyed the course, as you will see from
the scores) and a lovely tea afterwards.

It is always a pleasure to play at The Berkshire
The wether was kind to us, although the
forecast was poor, we manged to win 6 1/2 Br> to 1 1/2 and we were safely in for tea when the
rain came down.

We had some great wins, but I thinks Kirsty's win
of 8/7 was fantastic with some eally good
golf played.

1st Team versus Hertfordshire 1st March 2008

Berkhampstead Golf Club

Another lovely winter's golfing day. Rosemary
Wallis and I set sail for Berkhampstead Golf Club
The course has no bunkers, but lots of grassy
humps and hollows, it is alos tree lined -
I think some of the girls found it a little tight.

Unfortunately Herts got their revenge this year,
after Surrey beating them last year
The score was 6/2 to Herts.

The team consisted of Katie Shepherd,
Ellis Keenan, Katie Laud, Lauren Blease,
Jo Stocks, Julia Brook, Mandy Bruck and
Tana Churchill.

Congratulations to Lauren who had a 6/5 win
and well done Julia and Mandy with
honourable halves
It was Rosemary's birthday and Jaki White
presented her with a beautiful white orchid
