The Summer Foursomes were played at New Zealand Golf Club on Thursday 25 July. It was a glorious day - sunny and hot but not too hot. The course was in lovely condition and the heather was in flower. However it was better to look at the heather rather than play out of it and it proved challenging for many of the players.
As usual the competition was played over 27 holes - 18 holes with a two tee start in the morning and two composite 9 holes; again with a two tee start, in the afternoon. The winners of the Molly Gourlay Trophies (1st tee) were Marion Bridgen and Marian Condie and the winners of the Pam Barton Trophies (6th tee) were Daria Bleyz and Sheila Fleming.
