The winners of the Centenary Foursomes between Purley Downs and Guildford Ladies were Guildford Ladies winning on the 19th. Guildford were represented by (on left) Doreen Gribble and Wendy Blunden.

Winner - Roz Adams

Glenmuir UK Pairs Challenge at the Belfry

Jose Kellenberger and Arlene Castle from Camberley Heath won the Glenmuir UK Pairs Challenge at the Belfry on Sunday, 18th September 2005. Representing the SE region they played against 5 other regional finalists on the Brabazon Course. The day was damp and dull and the course played very long & hard. The winning score was on 36pts, 2nd was 35 and 3rd was 34pts.

Senior Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship held at Newport Golf Club 20th - 22nd September 2005

Congratulations to Jeannie O'Keefe (Guildford Ladies) for coming joint 4th with a score of 230 and Rozalyn Adams (Addington Court) for coming joint 5th with a score of 233. The winner was Eva Ansgarius from Sweden with 226.

Senior English Ladies Close Amateur Championship held at Handsworth Golf Club, Birmingham

Congratulations to Rozalyn Adams(Addington Court) for achieving runner up. She was beaten 3/2 by defending Champion, Chris Quinn (South Winchester).

IZZO Tournament

Congratulations to Katie Shepherd (Guildford) who came 4th in the IZZO Tournament played for by Club Champions.

Beaconsfield Salver

Congratulations to Alison Coffey (Worplesdon) and Irene Brien (Wentworth) for winning the Beaconsfield Salver again. Also congratulations to Vivien Saunders and Rox Adams (Banstead Downs) - they were runners up.
